John Lusk joined Promus Ventures in 2025, bringing over 25 years of experience building and leading technology businesses around the world.

Prior to Promus Ventures, John served as CEO of Spire Maritime, where he grew the business from $300K to $48M in ARR, leading to its $241M acquisition by Kpler. He also held executive roles at WhitePages and Spire Global, including serving as an executive officer during Spire’s NYSE IPO. Earlier in his career, John worked at Microsoft and Ernst & Young Consulting, and he has founded three startups over the years. He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Marketing and Strategy from Wharton and a BBA in Management Information Systems from Southern Methodist University.
