We are excited to welcome Kateryna Lopatynska to our team. Kateryna has a strong background in administration, operations, and human resources, joining us from Fidelity Information Services (FIS).
Welcome aboard, Kateryna. What’s your story?
Thank you, I’m happy to be here. My story started in Warsaw, Poland, where I decided to pursue my Master’s Degree in Enterprise Management, just after my BA degree in Sociology in Kyiv, Ukraine. I’ve always liked to work with people and provide support and it was in Warsaw that I had my first experience with an international company at Armatis.
After a few years, I joined FIS, one of the biggest global fintech companies, where I spent my last four years. I was responsible for recruitment and the benefits platform of FIS worldwide. I learned a lot working on various projects and cooperating with various people from around the globe, which will come in handy working with the many international startups in Promus Ventures’ portfolio. I simultaneously pursued a postgraduate program in Business HR at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
What is your favorite part in dealing with operations and why?
It’s an exciting area, especially transferring this operational expertise to help out all our deep tech startups. Now at Promus Ventures, I have an opportunity to grow in an entrepreneurial environment and to build something meaningful together with my team.
How do you spend your spare time?
I love to cook and bake. I also like jogging and outdoor training or relaxing with a good book and a cup of tea in the evening. I enjoy traveling and exploring new countries, their culture, and their cuisine.
