Congratulations to Founders Roman Holzl, Constantine Dresel, Paul Maroldt and the entire Munich and San Francisco-based Robco team on its new $100M Series C funding round.
Robco enables increasingly autonomous robot operations inside real production environments through Physical AI. Robco's robots reduce the work for industrial teams, enabling autonomous processes across manufacturing lines utilizing perception, motion planning and self-learning methods. In short, the Company is supercharging factories around the world to maximize industrial productivity with their AI-powered, software-defined robotic platform.
Promus Ventures has been privileged to invest in Robco's Series A back in 2022, and has invested in every round since including this Series C.

Originally founded in Munich, Robco expanded into the United States in 2025 and now operates a San Francisco office as well as an operational assembly facility in Austin. The team has scaled its platform to now hundreds of deployed robots in 10 countries. Robco's customers include BMW, Dyna Energetics, T-Systems, Rosenberger, and many others.

The new Series C was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Lingotto. Existing investors Sequoia and Kindred also participated, alongside other investors including Greenfield Partners, Vintage IP, The Friedkin Group, and Volkswagen-backed Leitmotif. Robco has now raised over $160M in capital.
We continue to watch the evolution of robotics in numerous areas, as our many robotic portfolio companies are revolutionizing autonomy in industries such as warehousing and supply chain, manufacturing, health care, food, recycling and others. It is a privilege to partner with the Robco team as they continue to scale their Physical AI robotic platform in Europe and the United States.
Onward!
